About Artist:
Guillaume “Fumaria” hails from Nantes (France). In high school, he learned guitar and bass, then formed a rock/metal band with his friends, creating and printing his own scores using Guitar-Pro software on his father’s computer. A little later, out of sheer curiosity, he began to create scores for synthesizers and then for drums played simultaneously. It was then that he realized he had a tool capable of composing something other than rock music. The software that initially enabled him to create his bass and guitar scores began to become a real instrument for composing electronic music. From this was born a real passion for computer-aided music composition. At the age of 22, after meeting the team at Radio Activ’ (a local radio station in the Cotes d’Armor region of France), he and a group of enthusiasts formed the Techno collective “Breizh Terre Happy”. The group of friends went from strength to strength. Initially under the name THE G@RDENER, in 2021 he released his first EP “The Flight of The Eagle” on the “Instant Techno Records” label. In 2022, he released the EPs “His Power” on Purple Sun Records, “Remote Shapings” in collaboration with Fab Oz and 5H55, and “Sand In Drops” on Spiritual Nomad Records. In 2022, he met the Teoxane label, with whom he signed 3 singles (“Entrelacés”, “Think About You” and “Follow You”) released on their sister label “Embryon”. The name Fumaria was born in June 2023, when he collaborated with the Teoxane label on the track “Follow You”. A new start was needed at a time when her style and practice are becoming more refined and tending towards a new universe waiting to be expressed.
