About Artist:
ACT ON aka Lewis Acton is a 21 year old producer & DJ hailing from Nottingham. He began his career at the age of just 16 with DJing alongside the likes of Hannah Wants and Low Steppa. After leaving home in 2018, Lewis enrolled at the renowned music college, Confetti Institute Of Creative Technologies, where he honed his craft. After gaining his music degree at Confetti, Lewis embarked on his full time music career focussing in his productions and energetic live shows. Following a series of early music releases with underground indie labels such as Whoyostro and InLove/ Lovejuice, ACT ON productions began to garner widespread interest. His initial bootleg rework of the iconic 2001 hit ‘Don’t Stop Movin’ (now over 20 years old) received tastemaker support from the likes of Sam Divine, Sammy Porter, Jess Bays & Charlie Powell to name a few. In 2021, ACT ON caught the attention of Jax Jones, who played the early version of ‘Don’t Stop Movin’’ in his main stage Creamfields performance. Signed by Jax at the end of 2021, ACT ON is now set to make his WUGD debut with the official release of ‘Don’t Stop Movin’, a collaboration with Jax Jones. 2022 is an exciting year for ACT ON, with more belters on the way and live shows which include slots at Ministry Of Sound and Groovebox Festival alongside Jax Jones, Nathan Dawe, Emily Nash & Ryan Arnold
