About Artist:
Born in Thessaly — the birthplace of Dionysus, the god of wine and festivity — Alex Macris moved to Istanbul, his mother’s hometown, after the passing of his father. Though he pursued a high-stress career as a broker, music remained a constant presence in his life. After immersing himself in the world of electronic music by attending festivals like Burning Man, Timewarp, Tomorrowland, Exit, and Fusion Festival, Alex decided to take his passion a step further and completed his DJ/producer training at Up8 Studio.
In a very short time, his consecutive releases made it into the top 10 of Beatport’s Melodic Techno chart. With the return of live events during the post-pandemic normalization phase, Alex quickly became one of the most sought-after names on the local scene.
