About Artist:
Analog Sol is a live electronic musician focused on real-time, improvised performance. Working exclusively with hardware instruments, he creates electronic music entirely in the moment, without pre-written tracks, fixed arrangements, or laptops, allowing each performance to unfold organically and never repeat itself.
His sound moves fluidly across deep house, melodic house and techno, and more hypnotic, atmospheric territory, always guided by feel, restraint, and groove. While the energy can shift from subtle and spacious to driving and dancefloor-ready, the intention remains the same: music that feels alive, human, and present.
What sets Analog Sol apart is the depth of the improvisation itself. Melodies, basslines, drum patterns, and arrangements are composed live, shaped in real time through tension, release, emotion, and dynamics. Each performance is built from scratch, drawing on decades of experience in songwriting, sound design, mixing, and performance, allowing the music to respond intuitively to the moment, the space, the audience, and the artist himself. Rather than following a predetermined path, the performance becomes a two-way conversation, where the music evolves organically in direct dialogue with its surroundings and the feeling of the moment.
After years releasing records, touring internationally, and topping charts under the Bass Kleph moniker, Analog Sol represents a deliberate shift back toward the essence of live electronic performance. Past releases have been widely supported by artists such as Black Coffee, Solomun, and Armin van Buuren, and have reached millions of listeners worldwide, but the focus today is firmly on the act of playing live.
Much of Analog Sol’s work now takes place through extended live sessions and improvised performances streamed online, documenting the creative process as it happens. Alongside performing, he is passionate about encouraging more musicians to step beyond playback and into live performance, sharing knowledge to help demystify hardware-based improvisation and inspire others to explore what’s possible beyond the DJ format.
Analog Sol is, at its heart, about live improvised electronic music, created in the moment, shaped by intuition, and driven by the belief that electronic performance can be as expressive, spontaneous, and human as any traditional instrument.
