Andreas Bakketeig better known as BAKKIS is a vibrant artist who has carved out a reputation for groove fuelled house productions that encapsulate fans and dancefloors worldwide. The catalyst for all this began when BAKKIS began hosting his radio show on Radio OS at incredibly 10 years of age. As his passion grew this led him to interview internationally acclaimed superstars like MC Hammer. He cites early influences Jean Michel Jarre and KLF shaping where he is today. With radio DJing the tip of the iceberg, BAKKIS was eager to travel and perform to packed-out venues. This led to him becoming a club DJ in the late noughties, he has played for some of the world’s most celebrated club brands and venues around the world Destino Pacha, Dunes Ibiza, Hard Rock Ibiza, Norway; Ricks (Bergen) and Rebel, Jackspot showcase. BAKKIS’ love affair with music has recently led him into the next part of his journey, music production. A self-confessed hardware lover, BAKKIS has since been locked away in his studio with the Moog Subsequent 37 his most prized possession from treasure chest of hardware.
