Melancholic piano sounds, gentle drum textures and dreamy vocal chops establish a bittersweet melancholy right at the beginning of the song, taking the listener on an emotional journey. A punchy kick drum and a complex synth arpeggio drive the track forward and lend it an urgent intensity.
In the epic finale, the 8th note triplets of the synth arpeggio dance around the earthy drums with increasing intensity. The voice of Californian singer-songwriter Julian Mueller sounds evocative, while effects and distortions lift the song into ever new spheres.
