About Artist:
An early activist, Crys L (Christophe Lyard) has been shaping the French electronic scene for over 30 years. From experimental projects with Pacific 231 to the artistic direction of the legendary club Magic in Grenoble—where he organized his first raves with Laurent Garnier—he has never stopped combining passion and vision. Founder of Futuria Production, Trance-Mission, and the Sekence label, rooted in the lineage of the French Touch (Phunky Data, Kiko, Lake Soul…), he co-founded Technopol in 1996 and spearheaded some of the era’s landmark events: Hexagona, the Amplitudes Festival, and the Futuria Raves at Paris’ Zénith. A key figure in the Rhone-Alpes electronic explosion (Kiko, Oxia, Agoria…), he has frequently crossed paths with Moby, Prodigy, Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, David Guetta, and Cerrone, whom he has worked with since 2013.
After the pandemic, he returned to machines and decks: residencies on Club FG and Maxximum, signing with Balagan Music (Wagram), and releasing his debut single This Is My Berlin (with Rocket Mike) in 2023. Since then, everything has accelerated: Cherchez le Garçon (Kiko Remix), Hironoda, and Primal have all found their way into playlists.
Crys L now shares the stage with Cerrone, Josh Wink, Popof, Marc Houle, Timid Boy, performing in Paris, Ibiza, Geneva, Lyon… Somewhere between progressive house, melodic techno, and a club spirit, he is forging an independent path true to his passion.
