About Artist:
For over 30 years, Christophe Lyard has been a true activist in the electronic music scene. Under the name Crys L, he has participated in numerous musical projects with groups such as Collectif & Cie, Pacific 231, Für eine Nacht, and John Doe. He has also been involved in event organization, taking charge of the legendary club Magic in Grenoble, where he co-organized his first rave parties with Laurent Garnier.
He later founded the Trance-Mission association and contributed to the rise of the Rhône-Alpes electronic scene alongside artists like Miloch, Agoria, Oxia, The Hacker, Kiko, DJ Ralph, and Alex K. Transitioning into production and management, he successively launched Futuria Production and then the label Sekence, part of the French Touch movement (featuring artists such as Phunky Data, Lake Soul, Kiko, and Ian Pooley).
As a co-founder of Technopol in 1996 (the organization behind the Technoparade), he played a pioneering role in organizing major techno events in France, including Hexagona at Printemps de Bourges, Métropole Techno at Bercy, Festival Amplitudes in Annecy, and the Futuria Raves at Zénith de Paris.
He has also worked as a programmer for festivals and prestigious venues such as Solidays, Midem, Jimmy’z in Monte Carlo, Théâtro in Marrakech, and Gaodi in Moscow, among many others.
In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic marked a turning point, prompting him to return to his roots by picking up instruments and DJing again. He performed his first DJ set on April 22, 2022, in Lyon alongside Scan X. Now a resident DJ on Club FG and Maxximum, he has since played in Paris, Ibiza, Lyon, Geneva, and Annecy.
