About Artist:
Dave Mech is an electronic music artist whose journey began with flamenco guitar at age seven and evolved to encompass bass, drums, and electronic production. As an instrumentalist he has played in prestigious venues like Vredenburg, Paradiso, and VERA, as well as festivals such as Oeral and Noorderslag. As a solo live performer Dave performed across Europe in renowned clubs like NADA Temple in Lisbon and Club Basis in Utrecht. His unique live setup, consisting of a selection of samplers, synthesizers, and a Xone DB4 mixer, allows for dynamic, improvised performances that seamlessly blend deep atmospheres with uptempo techno.
Dave has released music on respected labels including Nothing But, Tribal Pulse, and SOMA Labs Music, but is current focusing on self-releases to have more control over the creative process and release speed. Beyond his artistic endeavours, he is dedicated to education and community building in the electronic music scene through his YouTube channel, teaching, and creating resources like samples, presets and courses for other musicians.
Dave’s mission is centered on creating meaningful sonic experiences that connect people through energy, atmosphere, and creative exploration.
