INTO THE SWARM (ODYSSETTE REMIX) by Endless Forms will be released on July 14th with a full length album titled, “The House Of Love” scheduled to be released in the fall of 2023.
If the original single version of INTO THE SWARM released on April 14th, 2023 by singer-songwriter Justin Allen who records under the name Endless Forms can be best characterised as a dark and brooding piece indicative of Justin’s dream pop sound that encapsulates his forthcoming album “The House Of Love”, then this remix of “Into The Swarm” by producer and DRRT Records label mate Odyssette offers a unique electronic infused interpretation that only adds to the brilliance of Justin’s original recording.
After a sweeping cinematic introduction, Justin’s ethereal vocals are punctuated by the introduction of a signature Odyssette beat and synths that intelligently melds Justin’s original work with elements of synthwave and retrowave. This musical direction is exacerbated further in the chorus which finds Odyssette masterfully matching the tension first heard in Justin’s original version by introducing a pulsating and anxiety inducing eighth note distorted synth bass sequence.
The song epically concludes with Justin’s harrowing vocals pleading that he is “falling into this feeling”, and just as he does, Odyssette introduces a wave of synths that forces every listener to join Justin in a blissful cascade that buries them under a sea of sonic delights.
Once again Justin undertakes all his releases alongside London based label DRRT Records.
