Berlin based, British producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist Guava is set to release his debut album ‘Out of Nowhere’ via his very own imprint ‘Guava Noise’ on October 27th. Guava, real name Bradley Hutchings, draws from his experience as a session musician and the LP sees him tapping into his personal experiences, writing songs of bittersweet romance, isolation and yearning through the lens of shoegaze, breakbeats and electronica. Album remixes to follow later in the year from Baltra, LUXE and Acidfinky.
Universal Angel is the song that sets the tone for the rest of the album and features emerging artist Maddie Ashman on vocals. Her vocals are softly sung with a delicate chorus effect on the guitar and walking bassline that draws the listener through the track – starting in one place and ending in another. The songwriting acknowledges that love can only be attained when both parties are free.
