Jono Stephenson serves up his superb Dancing Echoes EP on Atlant with four fantastic new cuts all showcasing his style. Jono is an LA based DJ/Producer who has seen his music on the likes of Impressum and Automatik in the past, and here he shows his skills again.
Dancing Echoes is a richly textural world of deep house drums and spine tingling synths full of light. It’s a mood and atmospheric cut then Her Blessing locks you into more laid back but tense grooves with fresh vocal details and lithe synths all adding energy. Voices In The Ether has more bright chords and a real sense of edge to the driving drums while Enigma closed down with some loopy drum funk and taught synth phrasings that bring intergalactic drama to the sleek prog grooves.
This is a fantastically well designed new EP from Jono Stephenson.
