About Artist:
Kotiēr is a 23 year old melodic house producer splitting time between Berlin and the states. A lifelong pianist, his sound heavily features synths and vocal manipulations, creating a perfect balance of progressive and familiar. Born in Connecticut to immigrant parents, Kotiēr originally went to college in Boston to study physics & computer science, but he gained confidence in the potential longevity of a career in music when he began posting videos previewing music that quickly accumulated millions of views. This led to booking shows throughout Boston’s club scene in early 2023, supporting artists such as MEDUZA, Yotto, and Rodriguez Jr. Later that year, he moved to Berlin and dove head first into developing this artist project. A few months later, he was named by Tomorrowland as one of the most promising artists 2024 and made his festival debut at CORE Tulum. Kotiēr operates at the intersection of technology and nature from the meticulously woven sonic textures to the eco-brutalist AI visuals that often accompany his music. Ultimately, the music resonates with both the body and mind, in a crowd and in solitude.
