Award-winning artist Lachi (Markus Schulz, Maduk) just dropped an underground synthwave remix of charting track “Lift Me Up” with Oscar nominated producer Jim LeBrecht. We would love to submit the track to this platform for DJs to find. The original track hit #29 on the US charts, and aired on MTV and BET to commemorate a civil rights leader. Now the remix continues that legacy with passionate clips and deep emotive drops.
The original Lift Me Up is a tribute to late disability rights activist Judy Heumann, aimed at spotlighting high-quality Disability-focused art within a pop culture context. It is now the Disability Pride anthem.
