Since his debut, Art Alfie has held a unique place in Sweden’s electronic music scene. Oscar Wedrén has been DJing and organizing parties since school age. In 2013, he co-founded the label ”Karlovak” with Mr. Tophat, quickly generating hype in Stockholm and securing label nights at top venues. Their reputation grew internationally, leading to gigs at world-class clubs such as Berghain/Panorama Bar, Fabric and Rex.
Art Alfie’s solo breakthrough came with his debut album ”Reveries of” on the label Studio Barnhus. The album received global praise, and its refined sound made the vinyl release popular among both dance music fans and collectors. Tracks like ”Greg’s Island” and ”Esquina” paved the way for collaborations with artists like Cassy and Axel Boman, as well as releases on labels like Toy Tonics, Howl, and Kwench. Throughout his career, he has remained closely connected to his roots as a DJ and event organizer.
