Mistier is a visionary music and visual art project that features the soul-stirring beats, heartfelt lyrics, and captivating vocals of Andre Mistier. Supported by a talented collective of music and visual creators, Mistier aims to transmit spiritually-minded dance music that not only resonates with the soul but also transports listeners to new realms of consciousness. Andre Mistier’s musical journey has spanned across various genres, including Classical, Rock, Experimental, and Dance. In the mid-2000s, his alternative rock band Ism released two albums under Sony Red/STM Records and embarked on international tours from 2004 to 2009. Andre’s exploration of music and self has always centered on how the language of sound can convey stories, moods, and emotions. From classical piano training at the age of 5 to rock guitar at 13, and eventually venturing into dance music and production in 2009, Andre’s creative pursuits have been vast and diverse. Alongside his musical endeavors, he holds a degree in Comparative Mythology from Yale University, has directed and produced numerous theatrical productions, and served as the creative director for immersive events. Furthermore, he has dedicated over 20 years to the practice of Jeet Kune Do, instructing choreography and the physics of combat while honing his dance-like movements in both body and life.
