About Artist:
After years of DJ‘ing and producing in house music scene, Lukas Grinys wanted to explore more melodic fields of electronic music. He started recording under alias Nortas in spring of 2018. Influenced by western organic electronica, ambient and nu-gaze, Nortas combines live-recorded percussion with minimal techno drum elements, dreamy progressive synthesizers, live instruments and sounds from the surroundings. It is possible to hear birds, footsteps or percussive noise in his tracks, which helps to visualize the musical landscapes and sceneries for the listener. The works are often engraved with a warm melancholic and nostalgic mood.
