About Artist:
ØRBITA is the synth project of Bali-based music producer Dmitrii Riabokon. Dmitrii’s musical journey began in childhood through his father’s diverse record collection. He picked up guitar as a teenager and played in several bands before discovering his passion for digital music production. For years, he worked under the name OctoSound, creating music for videos and online content while experimenting with different genres and sounds. In late 2024, Dmitrii launched ØRBITA to explore his love for synth music and sci-fi culture. The project draws heavy inspiration from science fiction films, books, and video games. ØRBITA’s sound is built around warm analog synthesizers, emotional and often melancholic melodies, and punchy 80s-style drums that create a nostalgic yet deeply personal atmosphere. Working from his studio in Bali, Dmitrii crafts music that feels both nostalgic and deeply personal.
