OTTO MOSS is an experimental producer and founder of Silver Lab(s), known for his exploratory, collaborative approach. His work prioritizes the project over the self, creating a space where artistic vision takes precedence and evolves organically.
Previously at the helm of genre-spanning projects— from the folk-inspired Typefighter to the slow-moving tidal wave of Polyon and the chaotic energy of Joy Buttons, now memorialized in the DC Punk Archive—OTTO MOSS has since shifted into new territory.
Lately, he’s stepped into the background, working across multiple projects with 03CAS, Negative Shawdy, THISMINORITY, and Mass Ego. Meanwhile, his recent solo release, Easy (under his legal name, Ryan Christopher McLaughlin), arrived in early 2025 as a quieter, more introspective work, while his upcoming experimental electronic EP, Sweatshirt, Melancholy, marks a return to a simpler and more atmospheric production style.
