Damian Twilt, professionally known as Sonny Wern, has been making moves in the Dutch Urban scene. In recent years, he has worked with artists such as: Poke, Numidia, Trobi, Freddy Moreira, Ashafar, Johnny 500, Henkie T, Famke Louise, Sevn Alias, Hansie, Jacin Trill, Yssi SB and international artists like ADAAM and Tiiwtiiw. He contributed to the album ‘PRIX D’AMI’ by Mula B, which has a gold status in The Netherlands. Sonny Wern kicked off his ‘EDM’ career in 2021 with his dance hit Red Lipstick (hey what’s up it’s 616), which he released in collaboration with HUTS and Gang Speed. This track received massive support worldwide and has been streamed for over 18 million times on Spotify. 2022 continued strong for Sonny when he released his single Let U Go together with Jordan Jay and Idetto. The song was added to 14 Spotify editorial playlists, including New Music Friday Sweden, Denmark, Suomi and Iceland, Hot New Dance, Dance Alert, BPM – Today’s Dance Hits, Electro Mix and more. Sonny has been involved in music since childhood. As a child, he played the drums a lot and started DJing not much later. For years, Sonny was active as a regional DJ, but in 2021, he decided to release his own music. Sonny Wern has been making moves in the international music scene and has already more than 1M monthly listeners on Spotify. Because of these impressive streaming numbers, Sonny was able to play more than 60 times this summer, including international shows.
