About Artist:
Bringing a wave of new Spanish house music with its roots deep in the traditions of flamenco, DJ, producer and label boss STBAN is carving out his reputation as both creator and curator of electronic music. His FLAMENCA imprint, part of the famed Toolroom Records family, boasts an impressive roster of associated artists, the likes of James Hurr, Crusy, PAUZA, RAFFA FL, Michael BM, Qubiko, Jesus Fernandez, Kevin McKay and STBAN himself signing releases to the label. As the first run of music dropped across the summer of 2025 – PAUZA’s pulsating, sun-drenched edit of ‘Plaza de Gloria’, STBAN’s original tech-tribal house heater ‘La Palma’, and Crusy’s grooving take on ‘Baila Conmigo’, STBAN’s collaboration with flamenco stars Josemi Carmoni and Sandra Carrusco – international media were quick to pick up on the label’s output, support coming in from We Rave You, CULTR, EDM Nomad, EDM House Network, T.H.E. Music Essentials and more. On the road, STBAN’s live FLAMENCA concept has been picked up by clubs and festivals across Europe. From stand-alone DJ sets and stage takeovers to 9-hour immersive spectaculars with flamenco dancers and a jaw-dropping 90-minute tableau with STBAN at the heart, FLAMENCA has been invited to some of the continent’s most celebrated events, including Frankfurt’s AirbeatOne Festival, WCD, Montreux Jazz Festival’s 2024-2025 editions, including the Li Lo and Swiss Park stages, Odys in Geneva and his residency at Switzerland’s revered MAD Club in Lausanne.
