Tokehaum creates experimental indie rock and down-tempo electronica, drawing from the psychedelic textures of the 1960s and 70s, the raw spirit of underground music from the 80s and 90s, and the forward-thinking electronic movements that emerged across Europe in the 90s and early 2000s. The result is a sound shaped by psychedelic ups and downs, emotionally immersive, deeply personal and strangely familiar. After a mid-life realization that the time to create was now or never, Tokehaum founded the independent label Straight Up Board Records and committed fully to crafting the art that had been waiting in the wings. Every track is independently composed, written, arranged, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by Tokehaum.
