UNTER STRØM is an electronic duo formed by Alex Gonzales of Matte Blvck and John Kunkel of The New Division. Drawing from decades of experience across electronic, alternative, and industrial music, the project combines warehouse intensity with cinematic atmosphere, moving between dark electronic music, techno, electro, and industrial sound design.
Following the release of their debut EP, Between Forms, UNTER STRØM continues to expand its sound with “Ghost in Wires,” the duo’s first track featuring vocals from Gonzales. Dark, melodic, and built for the club, the track opens INHALE Vol. 2 and introduces the next chapter of Breathing Records’ compilation series.
INHALE Vol. 2 is the second installment of its compilation series and a new snapshot of the label’s evolving identity. Moving through dark electronic music, techno, industrial, electro, and melodic club sounds, the compilation brings together a carefully selected group of artists connected by atmosphere, experimentation, and movement.
Opening with UNTER STRØM’s “Ghost in Wires,” INHALE Vol. 2 continues Breathing Records’ mission to create a home for distinctive electronic music that exists between the underground, the dance floor, and the cinematic.
