yuma yamaguchi is known as a composer for movies, dramas, animation, and commercials in Japan. He started his career at IRMA Records in 2008, and his first album “Sound Multiply” was selected as iTunes 2008 best dance album in Japan. From 2016, he has an exclusive contract with YUGE inc. which are a music production company specialized in soundtracks and advertisement music in Japan. He has been writing music for more than 300 campaigns including many of globally known companies such as Google, Microsoft, Toyota, Coca Cola, McDonald, and Bose. Some of his works are known worldwide such as “Mewton feat. Haru” for PS4 game, Gravity Rush 2’s advertisement which received many international awards like Cannes Lions, One Show, and Clio Awards. Also, he has composed music for many movies and drama series which are released internationally such as Netflix original film “Bullet Train Explosion” (2025), which ranked No. 2 globally, and the acclaimed animated series “Link Click” (2021). In 2021, yuma started his new project “NotANArtist” which he focused on his original music with unique approaches which he earned through many of his soundtracks and advertisement works.
