World-renowned DJ and producer Solomun has announced via his social media account that he will be canceling his performances at Coachella. The artist stated that he recently underwent an operation on his left ear and needs a bit more time to recover.
In an Instagram Story post, Solomun explained that he had to cancel his Coachella shows. He noted that he usually prefers to keep personal matters private, but this time he wanted to share a bit of context about the situation.
According to his statement, Solomun underwent surgery on his left ear. He said that doctors confirmed the operation went well and that, in the near future, his hearing is expected to return either to the way it was before or at least remain at the same level as it had been. However, he emphasized that he still needs a little more time for it to fully heal.
Solomun also said that he had been genuinely looking forward to the Coachella performances and apologized to everyone who had planned to see him there.
