Static is an upcoming artist with roots in the punk and DIY scene. After spending over a decade playing in punk and grunge bands, Joseph Ling has now turned to producing nostalgic bedroom pop.
While polished and catchy, Static still maintains a low-fi aesthetic which only enhances the nostalgia and emotion contained within the music.
Inspired by 80s post-punk and pop, yet fresh and new; Static is the warm hug from an old friend you didn’t realise you missed.
